Blue Bird

The performance is in Russian. Suitable for ages 5 and up. An Enchanting Musical Journey with Tyltyl and Mytyl in Search of Happiness We invite you and your family on a musical adventure in pursuit of the Blue Bird—the bird of happiness, the symbol of dreams! From early childhood, fairy tales teach us to distinguish between good and evil, to fight for justice, to believe in miracles, and to appreciate beauty. Maurice Maeterlinck’s The Blue Bird is a masterpiece of world literature, beloved by readers alongside The Little Prince by Saint-Exupéry and The Snow Queen by Andersen. In 2025, this legendary story celebrates its 120th anniversary. Generations have grown up with Tyltyl and Mytyl, who remind us again and again that happiness is not found in distant lands but in simple things and the loved ones around us. In this new production, the beloved tale comes to life, filled with the magical music of Fauré, Ravel, Debussy, and other French composers, performed by musicians from the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. This touching story will be told by actors well known to Israeli audiences from theater and film—Evgeny Kulakov and Olga Buzhor. But they won’t be alone: the musicians will also transform into fairy-tale characters. And right before your eyes, in real time, a huge and unique illustrated artwork will be created for each performance. The Blue Bird is a story of inspiration, magic, and belief in miracles—a symbolist fairy tale about the harmony of dreams and reality, where the spirits of Light, Water, and Fire help us find answers to life’s biggest questions: What makes us truly happy? What is truly valuable in life? Music will add an atmosphere of real enchantment, leaving a lasting impression. Come with your whole family and become part of this unforgettable musical adventure!
